Josh Smith meets Justice Minister Michael Wills MP

Josh Smith a year 12 student at Wallasey School was invited to meet Justice Minister Michael Wills MP at The Houses of Parliament to discuss the Government's Green Paper on Rights and Responsibilities.

Josh represented UNICEF UK to present a summary document following a consultation meeting with young people from around the UK in December.

‘Josh represents a number of students here at Wallasey School who are committed to the UNICEF Rights Respecting School Award and was the only student chosen to represent the North of England at the meeting. Josh is an excellent ambassador and I am delighted that he was able to speak directly to the minister about important issues affecting young people’ Philip Duffy Head teacher
