Passage to India

Back in 2000 Wallasey School began it’s cultural journey with an event called ‘Into India’, a themed day for Year 7, since then the school has grown it’s interest in culture and visited numerous parts of the world with themes such as ‘Within These Isles’, ‘Spanish Fiesta’ and last year joining in with the Capital of Culture with a special ‘Liverpool Experience’.

For culture week 2009 we invited many of our friends back to Wallasey School to perform with us for ‘Passage to India’. Workshops have included Indian dance, photography, Henna painting, poetry writing, singing and Sikh awareness.
