Parents considering applying to Wallasey School are invited to attend one of our Open Evening or Open Days. We also offer individual appointments at certain other times. Please contact Mr C Boyd, (Assistant Headteacher) Every Child Matters.
As we are a comprehensive school maintained by Wirral Local Authority, the governing body implements the admissions policy of the authority. The policy is explained in the booklet Seconday Education in Wirral which is handed out to parents of all pupils in Wirral primary schools in the year preceding transfer to secondary school. Post-16 students are admitted to Wallasey School Sixth Form following a process of application and interview.
Application forms are available from Mrs E Edwards, Head of Sixth Form. The schools’ admission limit at 11+ is 250.
